Community Guidelines

Trust is earned. Visibility can be purchased. We never confuse the two.

TrustHER is a community built on women helping women make more confident decisions. These guidelines cover both sides of that exchange: subscribers who share experiences and providers who create them.

Subscriber Community Guidelines

Trust is built through real experiences. Every recommendation should contribute to that and protect the trust we are building together.

1. Recommend from real experience.

• Recommendations must be based on a service or experience you personally had with the provider.
• Don't recommend a provider simply because they're a friend, family member or someone you want to promote.
• Never submit recommendations in exchange for payment, discounts, gifts or other incentives.

False, incentivized or intentionally misleading recommendations may result in account suspension or removal from the TrustHER community.

2. Be honest and specific.

• Share what made the experience worth recommending.
• Focus on information that could genuinely help another woman make a decision.
• Don't exaggerate, intentionally misrepresent an experience or make claims you cannot support.

3. TrustHER is not a popularity contest.

• Providers cannot ask members to artificially inflate their recommendations.
• Members may not coordinate recommendations to increase a provider's standing.
• Duplicate, fraudulent or manipulated recommendations may be removed.

Attempts to manipulate recommendations, ratings or other TrustHER community signals may result in account suspension or removal from the community.

4. Respect the community.

• Harassment, threats, discriminatory language, personal attacks and bullying are not permitted.
• Do not share another person's private or confidential information.
• Discussions should remain respectful even when experiences differ.

Harassment, threats, retaliation or serious violations of another member's privacy may result in immediate account suspension or removal from the community.

5. Recommendations are not advertisements.

• Business owners may not create subscriber accounts to recommend themselves.
• Employees, contractors, family members or individuals with a personal or financial relationship to a provider must disclose that relationship where applicable.
• Promotional or undisclosed sponsored content may be removed from community recommendations.

Creating false accounts, impersonating another person or intentionally concealing a financial relationship to manipulate recommendations may result in account suspension or removal.

6. Negative experiences matter, too.

TrustHER is not a platform where only positive experiences are allowed. Women need the full picture to make informed, trusted decisions. Members may share negative experiences, but they must be:

• Based on firsthand experience
• Factual and truthful to the best of your knowledge
• Relevant to the service or interaction
• Respectful
• Free of threats, harassment or personal attacks

A provider disagreeing with your experience does not, by itself, mean your experience will be removed.

7. TrustHER may verify experiences.

• TrustHER may request reasonable confirmation that an interaction, appointment, purchase or service occurred.
• Recommendations that cannot be authenticated when verification is required may not receive verified status or may be removed.
• Fraudulent documentation or deliberate attempts to deceive TrustHER may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the community.

8. No one can buy your trust.

• Providers may purchase enhanced profiles, analytics, increased visibility, marketing opportunities and other business services from TrustHER.
• Payment never determines community recommendations, trust scores or earned trust designations.
• A provider cannot pay TrustHER to purchase positive recommendations, manipulate community sentiment or remove a legitimate experience simply because it is unfavorable.

Share what you experienced. Recommend what you trust. Help another woman make a more confident decision. Providers can't buy trust. Subscribers can't manufacture it.

Provider Community Guidelines

Trust is earned. It cannot be purchased. TrustHER connects women with providers through authentic experiences, trusted recommendations and community. Providers are an important part of that community, but participation or payment never determines trust.

1. Your reputation is earned through real experiences.

• TrustHER recommendations should come from members who have genuine experience with your business or services.
• Providers cannot purchase recommendations or positive feedback.
• Providers cannot pay to increase, alter or improve an earned TrustHER trust designation.

Purchasing, creating or coordinating fraudulent recommendations may result in account suspension or removal from the TrustHER community.

2. Your profile should accurately represent your business.

• Business information, services, specialties and credentials should be accurate and current.
• Providers may not misrepresent qualifications, licenses, certifications, affiliations or professional experience.
• TrustHER may request verification of certain business information, credentials or licenses.

Knowingly providing false credentials, fraudulent documentation or materially misleading business information may result in account suspension or removal from TrustHER.

3. Providers may invest in greater visibility.

TrustHER providers may purchase business services and opportunities, including:

• Enhanced profiles
• Increased visibility
• Business tools
• Analytics and insights
• Marketing opportunities
• Sponsorships
• Events and activations
• Lead generation
• Featured placements

Purchasing these services gives providers access to additional business tools and visibility. It does not purchase TrustHER's endorsement.

4. Visibility does not equal trust or endorsement.

• A paid membership, advertisement, sponsorship or featured placement does not mean TrustHER recommends one provider over another.
• Paid opportunities will be distinguished from earned community recognition where appropriate.
• A provider's membership level does not influence recommendations, trust scores or earned trust designations.

Trust is earned through the experiences providers create, not through the membership level they purchase.

5. Recommendations cannot be manipulated.

• Providers may invite genuine customers or clients to share their experiences.
• Providers may not offer payment, gifts, discounts, free services or other incentives in exchange for positive recommendations.
• Providers may not create false subscriber accounts or submit recommendations on their own behalf.
• Providers may not ask employees, contractors, friends or family members to pose as customers or clients.
• Providers may not coordinate activity intended to artificially increase recommendations, ratings or other TrustHER community signals.

Attempts to manipulate TrustHER recommendations, rankings, trust scores or community signals may result in removal of the affected content, account suspension or permanent removal from TrustHER.

6. Providers cannot suppress legitimate experiences.

• Providers cannot pay TrustHER to remove a legitimate negative experience.
• Providers may respectfully respond to recommendations or experiences when that feature is available through their membership.
• Providers may report content they reasonably believe violates TrustHER's Community Guidelines.
• Disagreement with a member's experience alone is not grounds for removal.

Attempts to threaten, intimidate, pressure or retaliate against a member for sharing a legitimate experience may result in account suspension or removal from the TrustHER community.

7. Respect the TrustHER community.

• Providers are expected to interact with members professionally and respectfully.
• Harassment, threats, bullying, discriminatory behavior and retaliation are prohibited.
• Providers must respect member privacy and confidential information.
• Information obtained through TrustHER should not be used to harass, improperly contact or retaliate against a member.

Harassment, threats, retaliation, serious privacy violations or other behavior that compromises member safety may result in immediate account suspension or removal from TrustHER.

8. TrustHER may verify provider information and activity.

• TrustHER may request reasonable documentation to confirm business ownership, credentials, licensing or other information represented on a provider profile.
• TrustHER may review suspicious recommendation patterns or provider activity to protect the integrity of the community.
• TrustHER may remove or restrict content or accounts that violate these guidelines.
• Purchasing a TrustHER provider membership does not exempt a provider from TrustHER's standards.

Fraudulent activity or deliberate attempts to deceive TrustHER or its community may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

The Provider Promise

Show up with excellence. Earn her trust. Build your reputation through the experiences you create. Providers can invest in visibility. They cannot purchase trust.

Community Agreements

Subscribers: By joining TrustHER, you confirm that you have read and agree to follow the TrustHER Subscriber Community Guidelines. You understand that recommendations you submit should reflect your authentic experiences and that fraudulent, intentionally misleading, abusive or manipulative activity may result in content removal, account suspension or removal from the TrustHER community.

Providers: By joining TrustHER as a provider, you confirm that you have read and agree to follow the TrustHER Provider Community Guidelines. You understand that your participation, whether through a free or paid provider account, does not guarantee recommendations, endorsements, rankings or earned trust designations, and that fraudulent, intentionally misleading, abusive, retaliatory or manipulative activity may result in content removal, loss of provider privileges, account suspension or removal from the TrustHER community.
